Dentures and implant-supported Dentures
Are you missing teeth? If so, you may want to consider dentures as a quick and easy option to restore your smile.
At Riviera Dental Clinic we offer full and partial dentures as a treatment to replace your missing teeth. The tissues and bone of the oral cavity provide support for those prosthetic devices so you can improve your chewing and the esthetics of your smile.
Dentures are made of acrylic resin and sometimes metal to provide structural support. Dentures can be removed for easy cleaning and should not be worn overnight.
An implant-supported denture is a type of overdenture that is supported by and attached to implants. A regular denture rests on the gums, and is not supported by implants. An implant-supported denture is used when a person doesn’t have any teeth in the jaw, but has enough bone in the jaw to support implants. An implant-supported denture has special attachments that snap onto attachments on the implants. You can receive an implant-supported denture in either the upper or lower jaw.
